Job summary

Olympia is seeking a Logistics Employee Inbound in Veendam to receive, check, and process goods for smooth logistics operations. You will unload deliveries, inspect quantity and quality, compare with documents, and report discrepancies while ensuring accurate registration in the warehouse.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a fixed hourly wage and pension benefits. You’ll work closely with inbound and other warehouse teams, maintaining safety and efficiency in a dynamic

• Experience in logistics is a plus; inbound experience is an advantage.
• Certificate of good conduct (VOG) may be required.
• Must live within 50 km of Veendam.

Job description

As a Logistics Employee Inbound, you are responsible for receiving goods and checking all incoming products. You make sure all goods are received, checked, and processed correctly so that the logistics process runs smoothly.Every day you'll unload deliveries, check products for quantity, quality, and any damages. You compare received goods with the accompanying documents and report any differences you find. Then, you make sure everything is registered and stored in the right spot in the warehouse.You work closely with colleagues from inbound and other warehouse departments. Your workweek is Monday through Friday, usually from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. No day is the same; you’re always on the move and help keep the workspace safe, tidy, and efficient. Thanks to your eye for detail, everyone else in the process can count on your work.

• You like to be active and work with your hands.
• You enjoy working with colleagues but can also work independently.
• Any experience in logistics is a plus; experience with inbound processes is an advantage.
• You’re reliable, quick to learn, and open to new tasks.
• You can get a certificate of good conduct (VOG).
• You live within 50 kilometers of Veendam.
• You speak Dutch or English well enough to work together.
• You’re available full-time (40 hours per week).
