Responsibilities

• Support the logistics team with administrative handling and tracking of goods flows.
• Coordinate and resolve inbound, outbound, and replenishment issues with internal and external partners.
• Investigate stock discrepancies between warehouse and systems and ensure correct processing.
• Handle questions and complaints from stores and customers and follow up on cases.
• Process and support returns (store, customer, supplier, damage).
• Prepare and follow up on claims with logistics providers and insurers.
• Support Finance in resolving discrepancies between supplier invoices and system bookings.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and lead times.

Media Markt Hoofdkantoor is looking for a Logistics Administrator to support logistics operations in Belgium from the National Distribution Center (NDC) in Etten-Leur. As a Logistics Administrator, you play an important role in keeping logistics operations in Belgium running smoothly by providing administrative support and following up on logistics-related issues. You work closely with internal teams, stores, and external logistics service providers to ensure goods flows and logistics processes are handled efficiently.

Your scope of work

Your responsibilities include:

• Support the logistics team with the administrative handling and tracking of goods flows
• Coordinate and resolve inbound, outbound, and replenishment issues with internal teams and external logistics service providers
• Investigate stock discrepancies between the warehouse and our systems and ensure these are correctly processed
• Handle questions and complaints from stores and customers and follow up on logistics-related cases
• Process and support different types of returns, including store, customer, supplier, and damage returns
• Prepare and follow up on claims with logistics service providers and insurance companies
• Support Finance in resolving discrepancies between supplier invoices and system bookings
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and lead times

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with different stakeholders
• Analytical and solution-oriented, with a proactive and results-driven mindset
• Curious and eager to learn, always looking for new solutions and ways to improve
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Good command of English and Dutch and/or French; knowledge of both is a plus
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI, GMS and/or WMS is a plus
• You live within commuting distance of Etten-Leur (<45 minutes), as this position requires you to work on-site 4 days per week
