Responsibilities

• Weighs and grades logs to determine value for purchase or sale.
• Visually and physically checks loads of logs for specification accuracy.
• Records and communicates load errors.
• Conduct physical inventories.
• Interfaces with contract trucking staff daily.
• Operates a log loader, knuckle boom, and other heavy equipment to unload, stack, and unstack logs.
• Verifies data accuracy and processes manual tickets.
• Participates in developing written processes.
• Creates and distributes reports.
• Uses Microsoft Office, LIMS and SAP regularly.
• Maintains scale house and surrounding area.
