Job summary

Financial Services in Amsterdam (Hybrid) seeks a Loan Data Validation Officer to ensure accurate loan data across systems. You will validate transactional and static data, reconcile ledgers, and drive data quality improvements.

Candidates should have 4-5 years in loan data or data validation, strong Excel skills, and English proficiency. Knowledge of SQL/Power BI/Tableau is preferred; Dutch/Japanese language skills are a plus.

Position: Loan Data Validation Officer

Candidate must have valid work visa to work in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform independent validation of transactional and static loan data against source documents and systems
• Reconcile key data between financial ledgers and operational systems
• Investigate and drive resolution of data quality issues
• Maintain and further develop the data validation framework
• Support system, process and regulatory change initiatives
• Collaborate with Transaction Support, Finance, Risk, IT and Front Office teams

Requirements

• 4-5 years of relevant experience as a Loan Administration Officer with a strong data quality focus, or as a Data Validation / Data Quality Officer
• Understanding of syndicated lending, project finance and/or bilateral loans with corporate customers
• Solid understanding of the loan life cycle, notices, rollovers, fees, covenants and collateral
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent command of English

Preferred

• Experience with SQL, Power BI or Tableau
• Experience with data profiling and sampling techniques
• Japanese or Dutch language skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical and structured approach
