Job summary

Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) invites applications for a Lecturer/Researcher (0.8–1 FTE) in the Academy for Leisure & Events. You will teach across BUas programmes, guide students, and develop educational materials while pursuing research aligned with your interests and BUas’ research programme.

You will publish in international journals and connect academic research to professional practice, contributing to an interdisciplinary teaching environment with a strong industry network.

Qualifications

• PhD in Leisure Studies, Tourism Studies or related field.
• Teaching experience at BSc/MSc level in leisure- and tourism-related courses.
• Track record of publishing in international peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise students across BUas programmes (BSc/MSc).
• Develop educational materials and contribute to course design.
• Develop research activities aligned with BUas Leisure Studies Group.
