Job summary

Adidas in Amsterdam seeks a Manager for Supply Chain Data Transformation to lead backend engineering for the SCI vertical, owning data models, pipelines, and ETL processes. You will guide a team of data engineers and collaborate with markets to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

The role requires strong SQL skills; Python/PySpark and Databricks experience are highly desired, along with SAP S/4HANA/IBP familiarity. Master’s in IT or SCM and 2–3 years of relevant work experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent analytical and logical thinking, with strong communication skills.
• Strong coding skills; SQL is mandatory, Python/PySpark is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and data warehousing tools.
• Knowledge of data lake concepts, ETL, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).
• Good understanding of BI tools like Power BI and ERP systems including SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend data engineering and product ownership for the SCI pillar.
• Define data models and data pipelines following lakehouse governance rules.
• Manage external data engineers and monitor ETLs on a regular basis.
• Translate SCI reporting use cases into clear technical requirements.
• Collaborate with markets, Global SCM Functions, and IT teams to ensure alignment.
