The role focuses on transitioning outsourced development to an in-house function, defining the technical vision, and building a scalable platform with 10+ engineers over time.

You will work with stakeholders to ensure architecture supports business goals, emphasizing efficiency, security, and AI-driven development. Hybrid working options are offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software architecture and leading technical teams.
• Proven track record designing scalable, secure platforms.
• Experience building in-house teams and defining roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the software architecture and technical roadmap.
• Lead the transition from outsourced to in-house development.
• Make key technology decisions aligned with long-term strategy.
• Design scalable, secure systems for financial applications.
• Hands-on technical lead during the initial build phase.
• Champion AI and automation to improve efficiency and speed.
• Establish coding standards, CI/CD, testing, and security.
• Collaborate with business, product, and compliance stakeholders.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a 10+ engineer team.
• Ensure compliance with financial and data protection regulations.
