Job summary

Vinted is seeking a Lead iOS Engineer for the Design Systems team. You’ll own the technical direction of our shared iOS components and tooling, ensuring high quality, scalable foundations used across product teams.

You’ll prototype patterns, review PRs, and shape architecture with RFCs/ADRs, all while keeping the system well‑tested and maintainable. English communication is essential in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SwiftUI and UIKit for large-scale apps.
• Strong knowledge of Swift concurrency (async/await, actors, structured concurrency).
• Experience building or scaling a design system / component library.
• Ability to lead architecture and technical decisions within a product domain.
• Experience improving CI/CD and testing to boost developer productivity.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Be the go‑to iOS engineer and technical decision‑maker for Design Systems.
• Own architecture and design decisions for the shared iOS component library and tooling.
• Push components toward greater composability and flexibility for teams.
• Make the design system AI‑ready with well‑documented building blocks.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, RFCs/ADRs, and guidance.
