Job summary

Redcare Pharmacy, Europe’s No.1 e‑pharmacy, seeks an Associate Director of Internal Controls & Assurance to establish and lead the IC&A function. You’ll own the enterprise control framework, governance, and annual assurance across finance, technology, compliance, and operations, reporting to the Chief Audit Executive.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in internal controls, risk assurance, internal audit, SOX/ICFR or comparable.
• Proven track record establishing or maturing an enterprise control framework across multiple domains.
• CIA preferred; CPA/ACCA/CISA welcome.
• Familiarity with COSO/SOX and GRC platforms; AI‑supported ways of working is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, e‑commerce, logistics or data‑intensive environments.
• Fluent in English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead Redcare Pharmacy's IC&A function, including mandate and governance.
• Develop and lead the IC&A team and improve scalability, automation and quality of assurance.
• Own and maintain the enterprise Internal Control Framework and taxonomy.
• Define control standards, evidence requirements and testing methodology.
• Oversee risk‑to‑control mapping and expand framework across areas.
• Set annual assurance scope and plan based on risk and priorities.
• Review significant control conclusions and ensure supporting documentation.
• Challenge leaders on control design and remediation when needed.
• Own management reporting on control environment and assurance activities.
• Lead engagements with business leadership, ERM, Internal and External Audit.
