Job summary

Dawn Aerospace in Delft, The Netherlands, seeks an experienced Project Manager with an engineering background to drive multi‑discipline propulsion projects from concept to orbit. You will own plans, schedule, budget, and customer commitments, working across engineering, manufacturing, QA, supply chain, and customer success.

You will translate complex requirements into actionable priorities, identify risks early, and lead teams to deliver flight hardware on time.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on PM experience delivering complex engineering or hardware projects.
• Clear ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in aerospace/defence contexts.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple in-space propulsion projects within schedule, budget and scope.
• Own plans, milestones, dependencies, resources, and customer commitments.
• Translate technical and commercial requirements into executable priorities.
• Coordinate engineering, supply chain, production, quality and other functions.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and recovery actions early.
• Balance performance, schedule and resources against customer expectations.
• Provide concise reporting and forecasts to customers and management.
• Handle scope changes and contractual deliverables with discipline.
