Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive electrical engineering of complex machines and production lines. You translate customer needs into work packages, coordinate multiple projects and define engineering hours.

You will work from Akkodis locations and at customer sites, guiding engineers and drafters, supporting testing on-site and improving existing designs. Hybrid working and strong pension await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electrical engineering for machines or production lines.
• Strong working knowledge of EPLAN and electrical CAD tools.
• Experience with technical design reviews.
• Ability to estimate engineering hours and plan resources.
• Proven leadership in guiding engineers and drafters and coordinating multiple projects.
• Strong customer communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You bring customer needs, engineering and real-world application together. You set the technical direction and make sure the design works, both on paper and in practice.

As a Lead Electrical Engineer at Akkodis, you work on the electrical engineering of complex machines and production lines. Your first project will focus on improvements and modifications to existing machines that are used in production every day.

A technical change request rarely arrives as a ready-made work package. You clarify what is needed, assess the impact and determine the best approach together with the specialists involved. From there, you make sure engineers and drafters have a clear work package to get started.

You stay involved from the initial customer request through to the final solution. You support testing on-site and see first‑hand how the engineering performs in practice. How much you engineer yourself and how much you coordinate varies from project to project. You work from our Akkodis locations as well as at customer sites, keeping you close to both your fellow engineers and the machines.
