Job summary

The Chemours Company in Dordrecht is seeking an E&I Engineering Lead to drive technical direction within our Capital Projects group. You will work at the intersection of production, project management, maintenance, and external engineering partners to execute safe, compliant, and efficient capital projects.

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years experience in chemicals, petrochemicals, or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of low‑voltage systems, instrumentation, and automation.
• Ability to critically review technical designs and challenge decisions constructively.
• Strong communication skills; able to influence without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Translate plant E&I needs into clear technical requirements for engineering partners.
• Review designs, specifications, calculations, and proposals (without producing drawings yourself).
• Advise throughout all project phases—from business case to full funding.
• Ensure compliance with Chemours standards and international codes
• Support installation, commissioning, and start‑up of new systems.
• Contribute to maintenance projects and turnarounds with an E&I scope.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance to identify and prioritize upgrade needs.
• Communicate effectively across all levels—from operators to lead engineers.

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication skills; able to influence without formal authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with EPC firms.
• Experience with Capex projects within industrial environments.
• Knowledge of modernization and sustainability‑driven projects.
• Dutch language skills (or willingness to learn).
