Job summary

Jobster is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Rotterdam to lead critical installations in data centers, coordinate with clients and manufacturers, and sign off on handovers. You will train apprentices and drive safety and execution standards on-site.

You will manage 5+ years of experience, NEN certifications, and UPS/back-up power knowledge to deliver complex projects in Rotterdam, The Hague, and beyond.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience in commercial/industrial buildings (offices, healthcare, industry or data centers).
MBO 3+ Electrical Engineering
NEN 3140 VP, VCA VOL and NEN 1010 competency
WV (work responsible) and IV (installation responsible) roles under NEN 3140 or progression
Knowledge of UPS, batteries and backup power

Responsibilities

Lead installations in data centers and perform load tests with loadbanks.
Prepare work plans and align with client and manufacturer; sign off on handover.
Train apprentices and assistants to become independent engineers.
Act as work responsible and installation responsible person under NEN 3140; lead project execution.
Serve as point of contact for clients and lead a small team.
