Job summary

ASMPT ALSI is seeking a Process Development Engineer for laser dicing and laser grooving. You will develop and optimize processes based on our capabilities, working with Sales & Marketing and customers worldwide to determine the best solution.

The role requires a Master’s degree and hands-on experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel internationally. A dynamic, high-tech environment with growth opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of work experience in laser material processing preferred.
• Fluent in English and able to work with international customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of laser dicing and grooving capabilities for target applications.
• Identify and solve challenges in existing processes.
• Manage sampling, design-in and qualification of customer applications with customers.
• Analyze experimental results and prepare technical reports for internal and external use.
• Expand application fields for full cut laser dicing and grooving techniques.
• Provide technical support to international customers and collaborate with the sales department.
• Develop and implement processes at customer sites.
