Job summary

Envolutions in Nijmegen is seeking a Back-End Developer with 3+ years of Laravel experience to design, build, and maintain scalable applications. You’ll shape architecture, performance, and security while contributing to CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and mentoring others through code reviews.

This role offers a hybrid work setup (office at least 2 days/week) and the chance to work on challenging client projects with a collaborative, continuously learning team focused on technical excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production-level Laravel applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient with modern development workflows, including Git, Composer, and automated testing.
• Fluent in English or Dutch.
• Proactive mindset and strong sense of responsibility for your work.
• Located within commutable distance to Nijmegen; willing to work from the office at least 2 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable web applications with performant queries, APIs, and background jobs.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for reliable deployments.
• Champion code quality through thoughtful reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production environments.
