Job summary

The Social Hub in Amsterdam is hiring a Kitchen Porter through Hosco. You will help keep the kitchen spotless, wash dishes, and support the team in a fast-paced environment. No experience is required as training is provided, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic, multi-national company.

• Assist the kitchen team with basic tasks as needed.
• Maintain safe handling of cleaning materials and gear.
• Spot and report issues or hazards immediately.

What You’ll Do

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away

What You’ll Have

• No experience needed, we’ll train you
• Some experience in a cleaning or support role is a plus
• Comfortable working in a busy, active environment on your feet
• A team player mindset with a positive, flexible attitude
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in cleanliness
• Reliable and hard-working behind the scenes
• Clear communication skills – able to follow instructions and ask when in doubt
