Job summary

WE Fashion BV seeks a Director Kidswear to lead the Boys and Girls collections, uniting Design, Buying and Merchandising into one high-performing team of around 35. You will set the direction for the entire Kidswear business, turning creative vision into commercially successful collections across channels.

You will drive the product journey from concept through development and sourcing, manage revenue and margins, and ensure a fit with brand identity and market needs while pushing for

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fashion retail with extensive Kidswear buying/merchandising experience.
• Several years in a strategic leadership role leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with proven revenue/margin performance.
• Fluent English in an international environment.
• Curiosity about how AI and new technologies can optimize product, buying and merchandising processes.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction for Boys and Girls and define strategic, creative and commercial vision.
• Own the full product journey from concept to development, sourcing, buying and execution.
• Drive revenue, margin, stock turn, inventory, OTB, markdowns and in-season trading using data and insights.
• Balance trend, quality, fit and price with sourcing, manufacturability and commercial potential.
• Lead Design, Buying and Merchandising as one team behind a shared Kidswear vision.
• Simplify processes, remove roadblocks and raise efficiency with a “less is more” mindset.
• Stay close to the market using customer insight, store visits and competitor analysis to keep collections relevant.
• Collaborate with CPO, Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, Supply Chain and Asia Buying Office on Kidswear strategy across channels.
