Job summary

Turner Engine Control Solutions (TECS) in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, is looking for a Workshop Technician (Electrical) to work hands-on with electronic and mechatronic systems in a high-tech workshop.

You will perform repairs, modifications, and testing of control systems, actuators and throttle valves, with occasional switch cabinet assembly and strong troubleshooting from component level; English proficiency is required and Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• MBO4+ in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Strong electronics, schematics, soldering and test instrumentation skills.
• Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Test analog/digital controls and electric actuators.
• Diagnose and repair faults at component level (PCBs, transistors, ICs).
• Disassemble, clean, reassemble and calibrate systems.
• Prepare materials lists, repair reports and test documentation.
• Assist with switch cabinet assembly occasionally.
• Maintain calibration of test equipment and workshop safety.

The Role

As a Workshop Technician (Electrical), you’ll work hands-on with electronic and mechatronic systems — performing repairs, modifications, and testing of control systems, actuators, and throttle valves in our high-tech workshop in Hoofddorp. Occasionally, you’ll support switch cabinet assembly projects.
