Job summary

Snack Connection in Giessen zoekt een Junior Production Operator voor een 3-ploegendienst. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor bediening en monitoring van verpakkingsmachines en het waarborgen van de kwaliteit van onze noten-snacks.

Je werkt samen met een hecht team, volgt hygiënische en veiligheidsvoorschriften en registreert productie-output. Werktijden zijn ochtend/middag/dienst, met af en toe weekendwerk en extra toeslagen.

Qualifications

• Engels spreken; Nederlandse taalvaardigheid is een pluspunt.
• In staat om verpakkingsmachines te bedienen, te monitoren en kleine storingen op te lossen.
• Nauwkeurig handelen volgens hygiëne- en veiligheidsprocedures.

Responsibilities

• Bedienen en monitoren van verpakkingsmachines.
• Uitvoeren van reguliere kwaliteitscontroles.
• Storingen opsporen en kleine storingen oplossen.
• Uitvoeren van routinematige schoonmaak en onderhoud van de werkplek.
• Nauwkeurige productie-registratie bijhouden en rapporteren.

Over de functie

As a Junior Production Operator / 3 shifts at Snack Connection in Giessen, you’ll be hands‑on in our modern food production facility. Your main responsibility will be operating and monitoring packaging machines to ensure our nut‑based snacks meet top quality standards. Each day, you’ll help maintain a smooth‑running production line, carry out quality checks, and perform basic equipment maintenance. If you spot an issue, you’ll jump in to troubleshoot and keep things moving. You’ll work closely with a supportive team who values accuracy and efficiency. Expect to:

• Operate and monitor packaging machines efficiently
• Carry out regular quality checks on products
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of your work station
• Keep accurate records of production output
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times

Your workweek runs from Monday to Friday in a 3-shift system: morning (6:00 – 14:45), afternoon (14:00 – 22:45), and night (22:00 – 6:45). Occasionally, you may be asked to work weekends, with extra pay for those shifts.

Wat wij vragen

• Vmbo working and thinking level
• 0 to 1 year of experience in production, food industry, or as an operator
• English speaking skills; Dutch speaking skills are an advantage
• Able to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging machines
• Reliable and accurate in following hygiene and safety procedures
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and occasional weekend shifts
• Maximum commute distance of 20 km
