Job summary

Novartis in Baarle Nassau, NL, seeks a Junior Product Steward to own process knowledge across a product’s lifecycle, overseeing technology transfer through commercial production and ongoing verification. You will drive data-driven optimization while maintaining GMP standards.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, validation, and regulatory teams, perform data analyses, write protocols, and support validation activities. A science degree and 1–2 years pharma exp required; Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, or an equivalent scientific discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Science & Technology, Technical R&D, QA or QC in pharma or GMP.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical processes, GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in data handling and applied statistics.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI or statistical software is an advantage.
• Fluent English; Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ongoing Process Verification activities across the product lifecycle.
• Establish monitoring plans and evaluate process performance.
• Ensure products remain validated during manufacturing and lifecycle.
• Analyze data, critical parameters, and trends for process monitoring.
• Author, review, and approve test protocols, reports, and documentation.
• Drive investigations of deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Lead process improvement using data-driven approaches.
• Create product-specific Quality Risk Analyses for robust control.
• Support technical changes and validation requirements.
• Assist site inspection readiness for assigned products.
