Job summary

Qualifications

• Holds a PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g. sensorimotor neuroscience, human movement sciences, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, computational neuroscience).
• Strong background in empirical research and computational modelling of sensorimotor control with interest in probabilistic neurocomputing and naturalistic approaches.
• Experience with behavioural or patient studies.
• Experience supervising students at various levels would be an advantage.
• Good social, communication and organisational skills.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct behavioural experiments and develop computational models of multisensory integration and sensorimotor control.
• Collaborate with researchers across the Donders Institute and partner networks.
• Manage and mentor junior researchers (PhD, MSc, BSc) and contribute to teaching-related tasks.
