Job summary

All About Expats in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on Process Technician to monitor a process automation system, adjust controls as needed, and ensure safe, reliable operation.

Regular rounds through the central plant are required; when a malfunction occurs you will analyze urgency and coordinate with Mechanical Engineering or Electrical, Control & Instrumentation for repairs. You will apply LEAN tools to improve production and reduce costs.

Overview

You will work with a process automation system to monitor the process and adjust controls as necessary. Besides automatic process control, a physical check of the installations remains essential, so you and your colleagues will regularly do rounds through the central for control. In the event of a malfunction, you will perform the analysis yourself and assess the urgency. For repairs or replacements, you will engage the maintenance teams of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical, Control & Instrumentation. With your experience and drive for optimal performance, you will use LEAN tools to continuously improve production and work processes. Your daily responsibility is to ensure that the central is operated safely and reliably, while also being environmentally conscious and cost-effective.
