Job summary

Loyens & Loeff in Amsterdam is seeking a Junior Innovation Advisor to help coordinate implementation initiatives, innovation projects and legal tech pilots. You will ensure new solutions are developed and embedded, while collaborating with lawyers, tax advisers, civil-law notaries, and business support teams.

This role sits in the Innovation team of the Commercial & Legal Excellence department, where you will gain hands-on experience with digital transformation, AI, and adoption programs,

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate innovation projects and pilots, including planning, actions, stakeholder alignment, progress tracking and evaluation.
• Analyze and document business needs, processes, innovation projects, functional requirements and success criteria.
• Prepare, coordinate, and evaluate pilots and innovation initiatives.
• Collect user feedback, usage data, and insights and translate into practical recommendations for improvement, scaling or discontinuation.
• Contribute to communication, training, and adoption activities for new tools and ways of working.
• Work closely with lawyers, tax advisers, civil-law notaries, and business teams to implement solutions.
• Stay informed about developments in legal tech, AI, innovation, and digital transformation.

As a Junior Innovation Advisor, you will be part of the Innovation team within the Commercial & Legal Excellence department. This team helps the firm successfully implement new technologies, innovative solutions, and more efficient ways of working. Together with Innovation Advisors, Legal Engineers, AI Engineers, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to innovation projects that have a direct impact on the daily work of our lawyers, tax advisers, civil-law notaries, and business support teams.

Your role as a Junior Innovation Advisor

You Will Support And Coordinate Implementation Initiatives, Innovation Projects And Legal Tech Pilots. You Will Help Ensure That New Solutions Are Not Only Developed But Are Also Successfully Adopted And Embedded Within The Organization. In Addition, You Will

• support and coordinate innovation projects, legal tech pilots and implementation activities, including planning, actions, stakeholder alignment, progress tracking and evaluation;
• help analyse and document business needs, processes, innovation projects, functional requirements and success criteria;
• support the preparation, coordination, and evaluation of pilots and innovation initiatives;
• collect user feedback, usage data, and other insights and translate these into practical recommendations for improvement, scaling or discontinuation;
• contribute to communication, training, and adoption activities that help users successfully embrace new tools and ways of working;
• work closely with lawyers, tax advisers, civil-law notaries, and business support teams to help implement innovation solutions effectively;
• stay informed about developments in legal technology, AI, innovation, and digital transformation and share relevant insights with the team.

This Role Is Something For You, Because You Have

a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Law, Innovation Management, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field;

• a strong interest in digital transformation of the legal sector, legal technology, artificial intelligence, combined with a practical understanding of how technology is implemented in organisations and of project management;
• an affinity with legal technology, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, or the legal sector;
• an analytical mindset and the ability to collect, structure, and translate information into meaningful insights;
• excellent communication skills and you enjoy collaborating with a variety of stakeholders;
• a proactive and structured way of working, with the ability to organise actions, follow up with stakeholders and take ownership of defined project activities;
• an excellent command of English, written and spoken; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.

About The Team

You will join the Innovation team, part of the Commercial & Legal Excellence department. The team plays a central role in Loyens & Loeff’s innovation and digital transformation agenda and helps practice groups and business support teams identify, test, implement, and scale innovative solutions.

The team consists of professionals with expertise in business implementation, legal engineering, and AI solutions. As a Junior Innovation Advisor, you will work closely with experienced Innovation Advisors, Legal Engineers, and AI Engineers as well as stakeholders in the business. You will gain hands‑on experience with innovation projects, legal tech pilots, adoption programs, and change management while developing your expertise at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation.
