Qabird is looking for a Junior Financial Controller in Papendrecht to join their Finance team. This role involves processing financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting accounting activities within a specialized team.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant discipline and at least 5 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Strong communication skills, fluency in Dutch and English, and a can-do mentality are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Hands-on experience in month-end close activities and deep understanding of all balance-sheet accounts.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Process financial and accounting transactions of GKN Fokker companies.
• Prepare various reports including period figures.
• Maintain and improve balance sheet specifications.
• Assist with accounting issues and prepare accounting reports.
• Provide financial data for year-end closing.
