Saxo Group is seeking a Junior Desktop Support Engineer to join the Global IT team in Amsterdam. You will support desktop environments, install PCs and devices, and work within an Agile framework supporting end users across an international financial services setting.

The ideal candidate has 2 years’ experience or an ICT degree, Fluent English, and strong communication. The role offers growth in a fast-paced, globally distributed company with a focus on innovation and user-centric technology.

Formación

• 2 years’ experience in supporting complex desktop environments or ICT degree completed recently.
• Fluent in English with very good communication and people/training skills.
• Experience in an international company (financial industry would be an asset).
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, mobile devices) for desktop infrastructure.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow department guidelines.
• Work independently on technical tasks for desktop support.
• Identify risks and escalate or mitigate proactively.
• Explain issues and solutions clearly to team members.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve self-service across standard requests.
