Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Junior Digital Designer to join the category creative team of a major global client - supporting projects from brief through to localised, market-ready assets across EU10+ locales. This is a hands‑on production design role for someone who takes real ownership of the quality of their work - someone fluent in Figma, with strong fundamentals and a real hunger to learn. You’ll play a key part in delivering category creative across homepage, storefront, outbound and social placements - working at pace and at volume without compromising on craft, consistency or brand quality.

The role is fully embedded in the client’s design team and will be hybrid (2-3 days in the office) with regular client‑site work. You must thrive in collaborative, fast‑moving environments where high standards and creative ambition align.

Responsibilities:
  • Support category projects through their lifecycle - setting up working files, preparing assets, rolling out localisation across markets, and exporting and delivering final assets to the required standard.
  • Design and adapt assets for sales and deals, seasonal events and collections - working from master templates through to in‑situ mockups, duplicating and updating templates for refreshes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure designs meet client expectations and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Work hands‑on in Figma to build production‑ready assets, components, and prototypes - including master templates, shared libraries and organised project files.
  • Keep production and delivery tools up to date - uploading final assets, adding file links and providing process updates in the project management tool.
  • Prepare product imagery for design - searching, downloading and prepping product shots, including background removal.
  • Import approved copy into assets and set up in‑situ mockups.
  • Roll out translated assets across EU5 / EU9 / EU10 markets (dependent on brief), export to the required specifications and complete final checks - asset counts, cover details and error‑free delivery.
  • Ensure pixel‑perfect execution of designs across all deliverables, maintaining quality and attention to detail at all times.
  • Integrate AI tools (including GenAI image‑generation and AI photoshoot workflows) as an active and considered part of your daily creative workflow, looking for opportunities to use templates and automation to deliver faster and more consistently.
About You
The essentials:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a digital / production designer, with a portfolio demonstrating quality digital design across formats and channels.
  • Hands‑on proficiency in Figma, including working from shared templates, component libraries, and style guides.
  • Solid proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop - retouching, background removal and imagery prep.
  • Excellent attention to detail - accurate asset counts, clean file organisation, and error‑free final delivery.
  • Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, colour, composition, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to take creative direction and work to a high standard with support from senior designers and producers.
  • Good communication skills and comfort working day to day with producers, designers and stakeholders in a fast‑moving team.
Not a must, but a plus:
  • Experience working within global brand guidelines, with an understanding of how to maintain visual consistency across a large‑scale brand system.
  • Exposure to multi‑market or multilingual campaigns, with an appreciation for how creative adapts across different cultural contexts.
  • A background in volume production - managing or contributing to large batches of assets across multiple formats and channels.
  • Experience with GenAI tools and AI photoshoot / image‑generation workflows applied to creative production.
  • Motion skills.
  • An interest in e‑commerce or retail creative.
