Job summary

Advocate Group is seeking a Junior Marketing & Community Manager to grow our running and lifestyle brand in the Netherlands. Take ownership of local activations, build relationships with running clubs, ambassadors, and local partners, and shape how the brand connects with consumers.

You will create engaging content, manage the community calendar, support retail marketing, and help drive brand visibility at events.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, community management, events, partnerships or brand activation.
• Genuine passion for running, sport, fitness or active lifestyles.
• Strong social media and content creation skills.
• A natural networker who enjoys building relationships and creating engaging experiences.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with wider marketing and sales teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Netherlands and support occasional evening or weekend events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver community-focused marketing events, brand activations and experiences.
• Develop relationships with local running clubs, ambassadors, communities and key partners.
• Create engaging content for social media and support local digital marketing initiatives.
• Manage and grow the local community calendar, including group runs, events and brand experiences.
• Support retail marketing initiatives and work closely with key wholesale partners.
• Help drive brand visibility at major sporting and running events.
• Gather market insights and community feedback to support future marketing strategies.
• Contribute to customer acquisition and community growth initiatives.
• Act as a passionate brand ambassador, bringing seasonal campaigns to life both online and offline.
