Job summary

ED Recruiters presents a Junior Automation Engineer role in the Netherlands. Assist with automation projects, work within the Project Management Group, and help develop software tools for plant automation.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc/BEng/BTech in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering, has experience in electrical engineering, can read P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics, and is familiar with automation frameworks such as Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Rockwell, Visual Basic and .NET.

Qualifications

• Must have a BSc/BEng/BTech degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering.
• Experience in electrical engineering is required.
• Able to read P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Automation Projects.
• Work within the Project Management Group.
• Manage, develop, and innovate software tools.
• Determine control algorithms needed for plants and parts.
• Participate in project team meetings in consultation with the project manager.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Provide technical support to other offices.
• Work on internal projects (ERP systems, internal procedural updates, etc.).
• Propose automation solutions within current technical designs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

BSc/BEng/BTech in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering.

Experience in electrical engineering.

Knowledge of safety instructions.

Familiarity with automation frameworks (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Rockwell, Visual Basic, .NET).
