At Advantech, we are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our Assembly Department. Together with your colleagues, you will assemble both standard and customer‑specific industrial computer systems that are used in industries across the world.

Your responsibility

As an Assembly Technician, you are responsible for building high‑quality industrial computer systems according to customer specifications. Every day is different, as you will work with a wide variety of components and configurations. Your responsibilities include:

• Assembling industrial PCs and customer‑specific computer systems
• Selecting and installing the correct hardware components
• Reading and interpreting assembly instructions, technical documentation, and customer specifications
• Installing operating systems, drivers, and firmware where required
• Performing functional testing and quality checks to ensure systems meet Advantech’s quality standards
• Troubleshooting hardware issues during assembly and testing
• Ensuring all products are assembled accurately and delivered on time
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment

With more than 4,500 different components available in our warehouse, no two systems are the same. While documentation and work instructions are available, many configurations require technical insight, problem‑solving skills, and experience with computer hardware. If you enjoy variety and figuring things out, you’ll feel right at home.

Who are you?

You know your way around building and assembling computers. You have a solid experience with computer parts and combining them into systems. This can be in the actual assembling, or also in running the drivers and OS. This experience can be obtained through education or because of interest or hobby. Having experience of working in a production environment is considered a plus. You speak and read English on a good level.
