Job summary

Manpower is seeking a junior aircraft mechanic for a company based at Enschede's Twente airport. You will assist in dismantling aircraft and learn step by step under experienced colleagues in a unique technical environment.

The role requires a technical MBO background, hands-on mechanical interest, and good Dutch plus English. Work hours are 9:00–17:00, with a 40-hour week and travel allowance. This is a direct contract with the employer, offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least technical MBO-level education or thinking level.
• Some hands-on mechanical experience and/or a completed aircraft mechanic level 2 qualification.
• A proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
• Good command of Dutch and sufficient command of English.
• Willingness to live in Twente region or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling aircraft components according to established procedures.
• Learn from experienced mechanics and gain hands-on training.
• Ensure parts are removed safely and prepared for reuse.
• Work in compliance with safety, quality and aviation standards.
• Contribute to reuse of aircraft parts within the aviation industry.
