SoftwareOne in Amsterdam is seeking a Legal Counsel to support Benelux operations. You will provide practical, commercially-focused legal guidance enabling growth while managing risk within company standards.

You will advise on software and SaaS contracts, public tenders, and cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Finance, Operations and Marketing, collaborating with the regional legal team to drive compliant business decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Dutch law.
• Experience in a law firm and/or international in-house environment.
• Experience in B2B contract law, software/SaaS contracting, data protection, and cybersecurity regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Advise operational teams across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg on diverse legal matters.
• Review, draft and negotiate customer, supplier, and partner agreements focused on software/SaaS contracts.
• Provide legal support to the Bid Management team on public tender submissions.
• Manage multiple matters with high quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations and Marketing to support business objectives.
• Work with Corporate Group Legal on regional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise operational teams across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg on a broad range of legal matters in order to drive informed business decisions
• Review, draft, and negotiate customer, supplier, and partner agreements with a focus on software and SaaS contracts

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Dutch law
• Experience gained in a law firm and/or an international in-house corporate environment, ideally within the Software or SaaS sector
• Experience in at least two , and eagerness to develop in all of the following areas : B2B contract law, corporate law, Software/SaaS contracting, public tender regulations, data protection, and cybersecurity regulations
• Native Dutch language skills and confidence reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contractual documentation in English
• Commercial mindset with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
• High attention to detail, self-motivation, collaboration, and communication skills
• Minimum of 32 hours per week availability
