Role Context

The role of the Junior HR Business Partner will focus on all areas of HR and support the senior HR Business partners in providing effective and professional advice to stakeholders to achieve business objectives while effectively representing the people group as a value adding function.

Responsibilities
  • Provide practical contribution to HR policies & projects with a local approach. Find the right balance between JC’s (global) HR goals and policies, and the local requirements.
  • Providing expert, up to date advice and guidance in relation to policies and procedures in regards to (but not limited to) recruitment & retention, training & development, comp & ben, performance management, absence management parental leave, flexible working, grievances, disciplinaries and capability.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure good cooperation with line managers, Local Work Council, HR Operation, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Payroll, etc.
  • Participate in the implementation of strategic HR projects and consult with business unit in obtaining feedback & results
  • Championing performance management process and initiatives. Coach, influence, and encourage managers to provide clear goals and objectives, feedback and development. Support management to take appropriate steps to address performance issues
  • Delivering accurate management information to shape business decisions, focusing on key metrics including recruitment, attrition, employee relations, absence
  • Initiating and driving continuous improvement within the People team
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with the people team to help shape best practice, a consistent approach and ensure business goals are met
You’ll have:
  • Experience as an HR business partner for at least 2 years, preferably in an international (matrix) organization.
  • Experience with “digitalizing HR” and (preferably) Workday driven HR processes.
  • Understand that data driven reporting and attention for employees, must go hand in hand.
  • High level of ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal customers and HR teams
  • Demonstrate experience in working in a fast growing, dynamic environment and managing change
  • Result driven, with a ‘can do’ attitude and resilience
  • Good delivery management and strong organizational skills - can effectively manage high volume and conflicting priorities, whilst comfortable to work on own initiative and independently to deliver against goals and ensure work is completed on time and effectively
  • Excellent English and Dutch communication skills (Speaking and writing)
