Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a proactive software engineer for the Identity & Access Management team. You will work on backend services in Java and Kotlin, build high-throughput authorization, and deliver frontend interfaces with React for global user and partner identity journeys.

You will support polyglot ecosystems including .NET SDKs and Python automation scripts, while deploying and scaling services with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in a high-availability environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial backend experience with Java
• Experience building secure identity or authN/AuthZ platforms
• Hands-on with OAuth2, OpenID Connect and SAML
• Experience in microservices architectures and distributed systems
• Frontend exposure with React is a plus
• Cloud and container experience (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain identity services and authorization microservices.
• Build end-to-end features and admin dashboards with React.
• Support client SDKs and automation scripts for onboarding and tooling.
• Scale and deploy services in cloud environments with focus on reliability.
• Adhere to modern security patterns and observability practices.
