Job summary

Kyndryl seeks an IT Platform Engineer to turn data into customer value through software engineering, data platforms, and cloud services. You will design and implement robust, secure software in a cloud environment and collaborate with Product Owners and IT stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals.

You will work on Azure-based data platforms, apply DevOps practices, and contribute to automated testing and code quality.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in object-oriented programming, analysis, and design (Python preferred).
• Proven expertise with Cloud services (using SDK, Terraform, Databricks – Azure preferred).
• Experience with Unity Catalog is a plus.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the incremental software development cycle, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Application of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Familiarity with writing layer tests/testing pyramid (Pytest is a plus)

Who You Are

We are looking for a colleague with proven experience as a IT Platform Engineer with a proficiency in Object Oriented programming languages (e.g. Python). You’ll be engaged in all aspects of reliable software development: from planning/design stage, hands‑on development and testing to automated deployment. We are also looking for someone with the following profile:

Required Technical Skills
