Job summary
EY in Amsterdam is seeking a Security Consultant (ISO 27001 auditor) to perform certification audits for security and privacy-related controls. You will lead workshops and collaborate with clients and EY colleagues across locations while balancing auditing, travel and business development.
The role offers a hybrid working model and opportunities to grow in a global firm. Applicants should have 3+ years of lead auditing experience in ISO 27001, a relevant degree, and strong knowledge of IT
Qualifications
- More than 3 years of auditing experience as a lead auditor in ISO 27001.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's in Computer Science, IT Auditing, Information Systems or Privacy Law.
- Advanced knowledge of IT general controls (security, change management, backup, datacenter, infrastructure).
- Ability to critically review security policies and implement controls per ISO27001/NIST/SANS.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity standards (ISO, ITIL, NIST, ISF) and privacy (GDPR, ISO 27018).
- Entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset with strong cross-location collaboration; English required; Dutch/German/French beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform certification audits for security and privacy controls for clients.
- Lead workshops and training sessions on related topics.
- Balance auditing, travel, workshops and business development tasks.
- Work in a global EY team with significant international travel (30–60%).
