Job summary

Huxley is seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer to design, build and maintain high quality iOS applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust mobile experiences.

You will write clean Swift, apply MVVM/MVC or Clean Architecture patterns, and contribute to automated testing, performance monitoring and security best practices. This role is based in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Swift and iOS app development.
• Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
• Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture) and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of testing practices and test automation.
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows. Understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of mobile performance optimization and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using modern development practices.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable Swift code.
• Refactor and improve existing codebases when necessary.
• Build and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Follow engineering best practices around security, data integrity, and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
