Qualifications

• 3–4+ years M&A experience for Associate; 4–6 for Senior Associate; 6+ for Vice President.
• Strong track record in live M&A and corporate finance transactions.
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
• Experience managing transaction workstreams and, at senior levels, junior team members.
• Strong commercial judgment and understanding of transaction dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or other European languages are a plus.
• Background from a leading investment bank, M&A boutique or corporate finance advisory firm.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A, capital raising and corporate finance transactions from pitch to signing and closing.
• Take ownership of transaction execution and coordinate workstreams across the deal process.
• Build, manage and review financial models, valuations, DCFs and comparables.
• Prepare and oversee pitch books, teasers, information memoranda and management presentations.
• Work directly with senior management teams, corporates, private equity firms and financial sponsors.
• Coordinate due diligence processes, external advisers and other transaction stakeholders.
• Support senior bankers in origination, pitching and broader business-development activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Manage, mentor and develop Analysts and junior Associates.

We are currently working with leading investment banking platforms in Amsterdam that are looking to strengthen their teams with experienced Associate, Senior Associate and Vice President level professionals.

The roles offer the opportunity to work on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions across the Benelux and wider European markets, take increasing ownership in deal execution, and work closely with senior bankers, corporate clients, private equity firms and financial sponsors.

What you'll be doing

• Execute M&A, capital raising and corporate finance transactions from initial pitch through signing and closing
• Take ownership of transaction execution and coordinate key workstreams across the deal process
• Build, manage and review financial models, valuations, DCFs and comparable company and precedent transaction analyses
• Prepare and oversee pitch books, teasers, information memoranda and management presentations
• Work directly with senior management teams, corporates, private equity firms and financial sponsors
• Coordinate due diligence processes, external advisers and other transaction stakeholders
• Support senior bankers in origination, pitching and broader business-development activities
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Manage, mentor and develop Analysts and junior Associates (Senior Associate and Vice President level)

What we're looking for

• Approximately 3-4+ years of relevant Investment Banking / M&A experience for Associate, 4-6 years for Senior Associate and 6+ years for Vice President
• Strong track record of working on live M&A and corporate finance transactions
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities
• Experience managing transaction workstreams and, at senior levels, junior team members
• Strong commercial judgment and understanding of transaction dynamics
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Confidence interacting directly with senior clients and decision-makers
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or other European languages are a plus
• Background from a leading investment bank, M&A boutique or corporate finance advisory firm
