Job summary

MediaMarktSaturn Plattform Services GmbH seeks an Inventory Lead to manage stock across Dutch warehouses including the NDC in Etten-Leur. You’ll lead a two-person team, collaborate with external partners, and drive improvements in stock accuracy and availability.

Focus starts in the Netherlands with BeNeLux expansion after training. Your background includes 5+ years in inventory management, 2+ years in people management, advanced Excel, SAP familiarity, and experience with AI tools and Looker

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent working and thinking level.
• At least 5 years of experience in inventory management.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with AI tools; Looker Studio is a big plus.
• Knowledge of Lean is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
• Structured and hands-on with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to hold others accountable and influence external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stock accuracy across warehouses and manage cycle counting with partners.
• Analyze stock discrepancies and validate stock adjustments.
• Manage stock in the returns warehouse and coordinate with stores.
• Follow up on returns to vendors and manage over/under deliveries.
• Monitor stock KPIs and conduct performance reviews with partners.
• Develop inventory reporting and translate data into actionable insights.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to improve accuracy and availability.
• Maintain stock procedures and ensure consistent execution.
• Lead, coach and develop a two-person Stock Specialist team, including recruitment.
