Job summary

Versuni is seeking a User Experience Testing Intern to join the User Experience Center. You will evaluate Versuni's kitchen appliances—from Air Fryers to Blenders—across existing devices and new development projects, supporting hands-on testing sessions guided by a coach and the UX team.

The role focuses on building testing protocols, collecting data, and translating results into insights for product and marketing teams, with on-site work in Amsterdam and a 40-hour week over 6–12 months.

Qualifications

  • Currently studying toward a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Some lab or testing experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with structured data collection.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on usability and performance testing of kitchen appliances across existing devices and pre-launch projects.
  • Collect and organize quantitative and qualitative test data and translate results into insights for product and marketing teams.
  • Support the design, documentation and implementation of testing protocols that ensure results are consistent and repeatable.
  • Run structured, controlled comparisons between products and identify inconsistencies in setup, method or results.
  • Contribute to test reports, benchmarking summaries and protocol documentation shared with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with maintaining testing equipment, calibration routines and documentation standards.

About The Role

As a User Experience Testing Intern you will work with our User Experience Center team to evaluate Versuni's kitchen appliances – from Air Fryers to Blenders – across both existing devices and new development projects. You will support hands‑on testing sessions that help us build great products that consumers love using. Your role includes building and implementing testing protocols that ensure results are consistent, reliable, and scientifically sound, guided by a dedicated on‑site coach and the UX team.

Amsterdam, 4‑5 days in the office (on‑site)

The Impact You’ll Make

The Skills And Knowledge You’ll Bring
  • Currently studying toward a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Science, Food Technology, Sensory Science, Human Factors/Human‑Technology Interaction, Industrial Design Engineering, Experimental Psychology, and/or similar fields.
  • Preferably with some lab, research or testing‑related work or internship experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfort with structured data collection and proficiency in Excel; PowerPoint for reporting results.
  • Effective communication skills, fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
  • Meticulous, methodical and detail‑oriented, with strong documentation discipline.
  • A team player with a "can‑do" mentality, eager to learn and highly committed.
