FrieslandCampina in Veghel offers an impactful internship in our pre-processing plant, where you will analyse alarm and process data to identify the biggest disruptors to stable operation. You will work hands-on with operators and specialists to investigate root causes and implement improvements.

You will measure impact with data, deliver a report with results and recommendations, and have the chance to contribute to production performance.

Qualificações

• HBO or MSc student in Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Interest in production processes, data analysis and problem solving.
• Experience with Excel, Python, Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• Hands-on, independent and communicative.
• Comfortable working in a production environment.
• Proficient in Dutch or English.

Our Veghel site is expanding its pre-processing plant, where incoming milk is treated before further processing. With the higher capacity, stable and optimal line performance is key. Alarm data is already being collected. In this internship you will analyse this data on your own to find the biggest disruptors and where the most can be gained. You will then solve these issues yourself, together with operators and specialists, and prove the effect with data.

About the internship

The Technology department at our Veghel site is expanding its pre-processing plant, where incoming milk is prepared for further processing.As production capacity increases, stable operation becomes increasingly important. During this internship, you will analyse alarm and process data to identify the biggest disruptors of stable operation. Together with operators and specialists, you will investigate root causes, implement improvements and measure their impact using data.This is a hands‑on assignment where you will see your own improvements being implemented in practice. The internship lasts 5 to 6 months and can be used as a graduation or master's thesis project.
