Job summary

Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South zoekt een Facility / Housekeeping Supervisor Intern. In deze rol krijg je de kans om je vaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen en te leren in een levendige omgeving.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het plannen en controleren van schoonmaakactiviteiten, en biedt ondersteuning tijdens drukke momenten. Je zult werken in een team waar mensen centraal staan en jouw echte zelf zichtbaar kan zijn.

Wij bieden onder andere een stagevergoeding van €650,- bruto per maand, en vele leuke voordelen zoals kortingen op hotels.

Qualifications

• Engels sprekend, Nederlands is een plus.
• In staat om in een dynamische, snel veranderende omgeving te werken.
• Betrouwbaar en iemand waar het team op kan rekenen.

Responsibilities

• Plannen en controleren van de schoonmaakactiviteiten.
• Hulp bieden tijdens drukke momenten.
• Inventariseren en aanvullen van hotelkamers en voorraden.
• Defecten in kamers identificeren en rapporteren.
• Voorbereiden van dagelijkse schoonmaaklijsten.
• Kamertests uitvoeren.
• Streven naar een hogere standaard qua hygiëne.
• Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor schoonmaak en facilitaire diensten.

Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South has 227 suites and rooms and opened in April 2021. We aim to appeal to both transit and longer-stay travelers visiting the Dutch capital. • Monthly internship fee of € 650,- gross for a full-time internship, if you work fewer days then the fee will be prorated. (allowance is included travel expenses)

Responsibilities:

You will be working in a wonderfully dynamic environment where you can further develop your skills and learn a lot.

Your daily tasks include:

• Planning and controlling the housekeeping activities.
• Operationally assisting if necessary with rush hours.
• Inventory and replenish hotel rooms and supplies.
• Identify defects in the rooms and report back to the technical department.
• Preparation of daily cleaning lists.
• Room checks.
• Optimize and strive for a higher standard; regarding hygiene of both rooms and public areas.
• Act as a point of contact in the area of cleaning and facility services to guests and colleagues.

What we ask of you:

• English speaking, Dutch is a plus.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Be able to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and demanding environment.
• Have a hands‑on mentality and be able to work independently.
• Be organized and have an eye for detail.
• Be flexible in terms of working hours and days.
• Be a reliable person the team can rely on.
