Job summary

Philips is offering an internship in the Harmonized Business Case Team within the Finance organization. You will automate financial modelling for long-term strategic projects, deploy the solution across European markets, and gain hands-on experience in healthcare financial KPI development.

You will work closely with Hospital Patient Monitoring teams in Europe and the USA, supporting business case population and process automation, while preparing documentation and training materials.

Qualifications

• You are finalizing your BSc or MSc degree in a finance-related field such as Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiar with Power BI and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving execution skills.

Within the Healthcare industry there is an increasing trend towards “one stop shop”: customers want one reliable and accountable partner for longer term contracts, and that partner needs to be able to take care of the integral project realization and execution. The Business Process Organization Team within ARIC operates with this trend in mind, acting as a center of excellence in supporting modelling for long strategic partnerships (LSP’s), capability building and knowledge sharing.

In this internship, you will be an integral part of the Finance BPO Team and will participate hands‑on in the team mission realization. For this particular internship, the plan is to collaborate closely with the Hospital Patient Monitoring team in Europe and the USA, supporting them with populating business cases and the automation of this process.

Your role

• Automate the financial modelling and tracking of financial performance for the long-term strategic projects (LSP), in particular for the Enterprise Monitoring as a service propositions.
• Deploy this new solution in European markets.
• Gain hands‑on experience in Philips Healthcare business case modelling and financial KPI’s.
• Actively participate in the development and automation of financial models.

Your responsibilities

• Gather relevant information, structure it, and build or populate the business cases.
• Support the creation and approval of different scenarios.
• Test new functionalities, update the test scripts, and support end users.
• Update documentation of processes and create work instructions and videos for end users.
• Support trainings and presentations of new releases for end users.

The Harmonized Business Case Team of Philips, embedded in the Finance organization. This team is responsible for building and developing financial models for the quotation and delivery functionality of long-term strategic partnerships and complex solutions.
