Job summary

SFC Energy B.V. invites an Internship focused on Digital Product Passport (DPP). You will perform market and regulatory research across EU regulations, benchmark DPP implementations, and explore technologies for capturing and sharing product information.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in EU regulations, standards, and compliance in electronics.
• Affinity with data modeling, digital systems and emerging technologies.
• Good communication skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Motivated, self-driven and hands-on attitude.
• Dutch and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and regulatory research identifying relevant EU laws, regulations, and standards.
• Benchmark how electronics companies implement digital product passports, including data, technologies and processes.
• Evaluate solutions (QR codes, NFC, RFID, blockchain, cloud platforms) for capturing and sharing product information.
• Develop a conceptual data model for an electronic product passport (identification, materials, environment, maintenance, ownership).
• Carry out stakeholder interviews with internal departments and external partners to identify requirements and constraints.
