Job summary

Damen Naval invites motivated students to join internships or graduation projects focused on Hull Condition Monitoring using digital twins, wave and sensor data. You will develop analysis methods, tools, and model integrations with SHM systems under expert guidance.

You will be mentored at MSc level, work on relevant naval engineering topics, and strengthen your project planning and communication skills while contributing to innovative ship design methods.

Qualifications

• Master student in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Aerospace engineering, or Naval Architecture.
• Ability to work on internship or graduation topics related to Hull Monitoring.
• Interest in ships and shipbuilding, proactive and analytical.
• Familiar with hydromechanics and ship structures; basic programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute your research project from day one.
• Deliver in-depth analysis and communicate results to other departments.
