Job summary

Assist Digital NL biedt een stage in Amsterdam op kantoor, gericht op Design & Strategy. Je werkt aan real client projecten naast senior designers en brengt componenten en design-systemen naar leven, met aandacht voor visuele consistentie.

De stage kent een coachende omgeving met ruimte voor praktijkgerichte training en professionele groei. Je maakt deel uit van een dynamisch team in een informele, open cultuur.

Qualifications

• Begrip van visuele ontwerp voor merkcommunicatie.
• Sterk begrip van UX.
• Begrip van design-systemen.
• Ervaring met Sketch of Figma, Photoshop, Fireworks en Illustrator.
• Kennis van Keynote/PowerPoint en vergelijkbare tools is gewenst.

Responsibilities

• Als stagiair werk je aan real client projects samen met senior designers.
• Je maakt componenten, verbetert design-systemen en bewaakt visuele consistentie over digitale journeys.

Your first team

The environment you choose to do that will have long-reaching ramifications on your career. Too small a company, and you won't get to fully experience the complexities of working on large projects with multi-layered teams. Too big, and your contributions may go unnoticed. We have that \"sweet spot\" mid-size team of 60 people. Your diverse squad will consist of: Creative directors, UX Designers, Strategists, Data analysts, Front-end and Back-end Developers, and of course, Planners, Project managers and Client Account Managers.

Is it right for you?

If this is all sounding pretty good to you, then here is what we are looking for. Designers who are interested in all mediums but have a strong affiliation with digital design. You are comfortable with conceptual thinking as well as design systems. You're a sponge that wants to soak up more the mechanical aspects of getting things done and looking to develop your soft skills as well. You're not intimated by large multinational clients and excited by popular local brands.

The hard skills list

• An understanding of visual design for brand communication.
• Confident grasp of UX.
• Comprehension of design systems.
• Proficient with Sketch or Figma, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator,
• Keynote/Powerpoint etc. (a few of these are pretty essential).

Visual Design

We are looking for a Visual Design Intern to join our team in the Netherlands. At Assist Digital, we help brands create better experiences by bridging the gap between high-level strategy and detailed craft.

As an intern, you will work on real client projects alongside our senior designers. You will create components, refine design systems, and ensure visual consistency across digital journeys. We value practical design decisions over decorative trends.
