King of Reach by B&S is seeking an experienced International Trader Meat to join a fast-growing, global meat distribution network. You will be responsible for both purchasing and sales, negotiating contracts, prices, and terms, and building your own international network of customers and suppliers within the B&S framework.

• 5–10 years of experience as an International Trader in the meat industry.
• Strong international network in meat sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and proven negotiation skills.
• HBO level of working and thinking.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and independent International Trader with a proven track record and a strong network in the meat industry. In this role, you will be fully responsible for both purchasing and sales, from negotiation to delivery.

This role not only offers excellent opportunities for professional development, but also gives you the chance to build your own business within B&S. We provide you with B&S’s international infrastructure, platform, and support, including a state-of-the-art cold storage facility with space for more than 30,000 pallets. You build the business.

You’ll independently build your own network of customers and suppliers and be responsible for the commercial success of your own business within B&S. You know your market, identify opportunities, and know how to turn them into successful business deals.

What you will be doing

As an International Trader, you will be responsible for both purchasing and sales within your product category. You will negotiate prices, monitor quality and ensure strict compliance with all agreements. You will actively build and further develop your own international network of customers and suppliers.

You’ll keep a close eye on market conditions and trends, ensuring you always stay ahead in a competitive market. At B&S, you’ll have the freedom to work as an entrepreneur. You’ll be responsible for building and ensuring the success of your own business, whilst drawing on our international infrastructure, expertise and support.

You will work with colleagues within the organisation to ensure that all transactions are processed correctly and contribute to the company’s strategic objectives.

Your day-to-day activities:

• Actively sourcing and selling meat on international markets
• Independently building and expanding your own international network of customers and suppliers
• Negotiating contracts, prices and terms of delivery
• Taking responsibility for the growth and commercial success of your own business within B&S
• Monitoring market trends and responding to them to create commercial opportunities
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics and administration

Qualifications

This is you

You are experienced, driven and have a strong commercial drive. You thrive on closing deals and have a hands‑on approach. With your persuasiveness and communication skills, you are able to build long‑term relationships with both customers and suppliers.

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and want to build up your own business within the B&S infrastructure. You don’t wait for opportunities to come your way, but actively engage with the market to attract new customers, suppliers and business opportunities.

You have:

• At least 5 to 10 years’ experience as an International Trader in the meat industry.
• A strong international network of clients and suppliers within at least one of these sectors
• Strong commercial acumen and proven negotiation skills
• HBO level of working and thinking
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally frequently and extensively

• A good salary in line with your experience, plus a yearly fixed Christmas bonus and a performance dependent bonus
