Job summary

Zeeland is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission and service machines at customer sites across Europe. You will diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical and refrigeration issues, reading diagrams and drawings as you go. A practical, independent approach and strong communication with customers are essential; travel up to 80% is expected.

You will join a technical, international team and develop your skills while supporting customers in the Netherlands and abroad.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics fields.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Practical, independent, solution-oriented approach with good communication.
• Willing to travel up to 80% and communicate in Dutch and English.
• Experience with PLCs/refrigeration or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up and commission machines at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and refrigeration issues.
• Perform adjustments to control systems and programming as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and drawings.
• Report on work performed and findings; ensure quality standards.
• Travel to customers, mainly within Europe; collaborate with colleagues.
