Join us as a Business Development Intern within the Pharma team at Air France KLM Cargo. Ready for take-off?

What will you do?

At Air France-KLM Cargo, our mission is to deliver essential medicines efficiently and reliably, ensuring they arrive where and when they are needed. Many of these pharmaceuticals are shipped in advanced containers designed to maintain precise temperature control. We are seeking support to further enhance this logistics process. You will help address critical questions such as: What is the optimal container lease duration? Which routes should be operated as one-way or round-trip? How do our pricing strategies influence market share and revenue? By leveraging data, you will contribute directly to solving one of these impactful challenges and help improve our bottom‑line result with more than 1 million EUR.

Where do you land?

You will be located at Schiphol-East as part of the Pharma team, which brings together colleagues from both Air France and KLM in a dynamic, international setting dedicated to optimizing operational and commercial processes. In this role, you will collaborate with a range of Air France KLM departments—including operations, procurement, digital, commercial, and controlling—giving you the chance to connect with colleagues from across the organization. You will also work closely with the Business Development Manager Pharma and interact directly with suppliers and customers.

Your profile

You are a motivated master’s student looking for a graduation or work placement internship. People describe you as highly curious with an unstoppable drive to improve. We will not hold your hand, and you prefer it that way. You enjoy analyzing data and translating insights into actionable steps. You also have strong English skills, as English is the working language in most teams. You are available from early January for 4 or 5 days per week, for a period of 5 or 6 months.
