Job summary

IKEA Delft is seeking an experienced Interior Designer with 2-3 years in the field to join the Store Interior Design team. You will leverage home furnishing expertise to present functional, sustainable and affordable solutions aligned with the local market, while inspiring customers to reimagine their homes.

Contribute to a strong visual identity across store media, drive innovative room settings, and support a fast-paced retail environment. English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years proven work experience in interior design.
• Creative thinking with commercial visual competence and aesthetics.
• Willingness to work in a simple, lean and cost-efficient way.
• Hands-on approach in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication skills to transfer knowledge widely.
• Desire to grow within Ikea toward leadership.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Revit is a must.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to positioning the Delft store as the first choice for home furnishing in the local market.
• Apply home furnishing knowledge to ensure up-to-date room settings and store media that exceed visitors’ expectations.
• Stimulate interest for home furnishing by showing new and inspiring solutions that encourage frequent visits.
• Use the IKEA product range to showcase distinct styles for diverse tastes and needs.
• Reflect IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in commercial, sales support and coworker areas.
• Secure a vital, locally relevant store identity each day to support the interior design agenda.
