Job summary

Legal People is seeking an Interim Legal Counsel for an international logistics group with a global footprint. The role blends advisory work on transport law and commercial contracts with process optimisation and legal operations in an international context.

You will advise on cross-border transport issues, draft and negotiate agreements, and contribute to the professionalisation of internal processes. Hybrid work in the Hague region, start date negotiable for several days per week.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer or legal counsel with interim experience.
• Experience with logistics, transportation and warehousing issues is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of transport law and related regulations.
• Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience in an international business environment or with international clients.

To strengthen a compact international legal team, we are looking for an

Interim Legal Counsel

transport law, commercial contracts & process optimisation

Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will advise on legal issues related to international transport and logistics, among which road transport and maritime transportation activities. If requested, you wil support in drafting and negotiating agreements. In addition, you will contribute to the further development and optimisation of internal (legal) processes and procedures.

The role combines legal advisory work with process improvement initiatives and offers significant exposure to an international business environment.

Profile

• Interim role for qualified lawyer or legal counsel
• preferably some experience with logistics, transportation and warehousing issues
• (basic) knowledge and understanding of transport law
• experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• experience within an international business environment or international clients
• fluent in English, both written and verbal, living in The Netherlands
